King Rose is Going Back to Its Roots!
We’ve been collecting rare archival films and photos for a number of years, largely as part of our documentary production efforts.
After being asked by numerous people to use some of our footage and images in their productions, books, music projects and museum exhibits we set up King Rose Archives as a separate entity to manage that activity. But it wasn’t what we really wanted to do. We’re storytellers and we love finding things in archives that have been hidden in plain sight and sharing them with the world.
To allow us to focus on stories, and uncovering the forgotten and overlooked images that will help us tell those stories, we’ve partnered with two companies; Global Image Works, that specializes in the licensing of films and photos and Sonic Editions, that focuses on selling limited edition fine art prints.
Both of these companies are highly regarded in their professions and offer a knowledgeable staff to handle the respective parts of this global business.
We’ll keep the King Rose Archives company name but in the future what we’ll be posting are the fascinating stories behind the images and the footage.
